Central Knutsford Loft Apartment

Great location poor accommodation Positive: The location was the only really good thing about the stay. Negative: The bed is very worn out and dipped from the bodies that have stayed on it, and my back was in bits yesterday after our first sleep- I even ended up topping and tailing my partner to see if the other side of the mattress was better but sadly the same sort of issue. I padded the ‘dip’ with the spare blanket in the cupboard which helped, but it was quite uncomfortable and my back is suffering today. The flat in general is a nice layout, sadly there are hairs around the rooms particularly near the edges of walls, and it just felt a bit grimy. The bathroom was also a bit hairy on the floor, and the shower is very poor- the head itself is faulty so some of the jets go in a wonky direction, and the pressure is poor when set to the general head, we had to use the power setting which is a very small stream and quite hard to achieve a full shower with! Also, the toilet seat seems to have to attached at an incorrect angle and whenever it is sat on, it bumps over the bowl edge and leaves you pointing to the right and askew. I messaged the property to let them know and was told they had sent the cleaners to see to the issues. This isn’t enough- the flat needs a new mattress, shower head and toilet seat as well as a thorough cleaning!

Weekend break Positive: Great location. Bonus of a parking space Negative: The toilet seat was loose and seemed too big. It moves to the side when you sit on it. It was not comfortable.

Going to book it agaiin next year Positive: Excellent apartment in great location. Supermarket across the road and great restaurants Negative: Archway is tight so be careful if you have a big car

Perfect location, easy check in, minor faults in comfort Positive: Excellent location, hassle free check in with great communication from the host over messages about the check in process and directions to the property. It was a really nice property, the facilities were excellent they had everything you’d need. Negative: We found hairs in the bed when we arrived including on the pillow. The bed itself was a bit uncomfortable - very soft, it may just be down to personal preference. Being on the top floor, the noise from the planes flying over kept waking us up, however, I imagine this would likely be an issue wherever you stay in the town given the proximity to the airport.
